100 Yemeni Women Will Get UAE Supported Vocational Training
About 100 Yemeni women will receive vocational training after the Emirates Red Crescent completes revamping of a vocational workshop.
The representative of the organization said that the revamping and furnishing of vocational workshop is a part of New Emirati Projects that are going on along the Red Sea coast. This project will enhance the financial capabilities of the women, they hope.
The workshop is located at New Khokha, Hodeidah. It has been reported that as a part of their development projects for Yemen, ERC will provide the workshop with necessary tools. The program will also support the medium and small enterprises.
The motto of the organization is to help the people of liberated Yemen along the coast of the Red Sea. It is reported that people who are living in that area are facing dire humanitarian condition which might be improved with the help of this project.
An official of the organization said that in the first phase of this project, more than 100 women from five districts will be given training in tailoring. All women, who will receive training, either belong to the families of martyrs or facing an extreme need for livelihood.
The project will also provide employment to 100 women.
