Germany to donate extra 10 million euros to Yemen
The German government has decided to increase its humanitarian assistance to Yemen by 10 million euros.
To help improve the situation in the country and help the Yemenis to face all the crisis they have to face and manage,
In fields such as : education healthcare and hygiene.
The German Foreign Ministry announced on Thursdaythat the total German aid to Yemen this year will reach 130 million euros instead of 120 million.
The official declaration was made after a meeting on the Yemen conflict on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, which was attended by the German Foreign Minister Heiko Mas.The war in Yemen has caused the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
An agreement nine months ago in Stockholm to pave the way for a peace process has failed to improve the situation so far.
