Houthi launched new attack on Saudi Arabia’s Abha airport
Houthi launched a new attack targeting the Abha airport in southern Saudi Arabia in Yemen on Monday.
The news was presented by the rebel’s Al Masirah TV. There seemed to be no immediate confirmation of the attack from Saudi Arabia, which on Saturday launched air attacks on Houthi rebel forces in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, a part of an escalation of tit-for-tat attacks which has stoked local pressures.
Last week, the Houthis released several drones and also missile attacks focusing on southern regions of Saudi Arabia, which includes Abha, Khamis Mushait and Jizan.
A minimum of 26 people were wounded in a missile attack on Jizan airport accomplished by the Houthis on Wednesday.
