Yemen’s rebel groupAnnounced that its armed forces carried out bombings of factories belonging to Saudi Aramco oil company in the provinces of Abqaiq and Khurais by drones. The info was confirmed by the Saudi government who reported fires due to the Houthi bombing.
A spokesman for the armed forces of the Houthi group in Yemen, Yahya Sari, said that the Houthi air force carried out large-scale operations with ten drones that bombed oil refineries in the provinces of Abqaiq and Khurais, eastern Saudi Arabia.
He explained that these airstrikes by remote-controlled aircraft are one of the largest military operations Houthi led in Saudi Arabia, the attackstargeted Saudi oil installations, which are believed to include the largest oil refineries in the world located in the provinces of Abqaiq and Khurais, east Saudi.
The Saudi Interior Ministry announced that drones targeted dawn on Saturday, two factories belonging to the Aramco oil company in Abqaiq and HijratKhurais, eastern Saudi Arabia, caused fires that were extinguished by the security forces of Aramco Company.
The Saudi Interior Ministry said in an official statement there were “drone attacks on two Aramco plants in Abqaiq and Khurais on Saturday.”
