Hungary to grant Yemeni students 60 scholarships annually
The Republic of Hungary has agreed to increase the number of scholarships for Yemeni students to 60 scholarships annually by the end of this year, and to provide the necessary assistance to train the Yemeni diplomatic staff at the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy as of September 2020.
This came during the handover of Ambassador Ahmed Abdullah Naji today Deputy Minister and Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade
The ambassador praised the historical relations between the two countries and the support provided by Hungary to Yemen in various fields.
For his part, the Hungarian official stressed his country’s keenness to develop relations between the two countries and Hungary’s aspiration to achieve peace in Yemen and contribute to the reconstruction of Yemen and continue to provide scholarships.
