Islamic Cooperation welcomes KSA-UAE statement on Yemen
The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Yusuf bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, welcomed the joint Saudi-Emirati statement issued on Sunday on the legitimate response of the Yemeni government and the transitional council to call for dialogue.

He also expressed the organization’s support for the efforts of the Saudi-led Arab coalition, the legitimate efforts of the Yemeni government to preserve the elements of the Yemeni state, and the defeat of the Houthi militias and terrorist organizations in Yemen.
In a joint statement, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates welcomed the response of the Yemeni legitimate government and the transitional council to the kingdom’s call for dialogue, and stressed the importance of completely stopping any military actions or activities or practices or violations against other components.
“While welcoming the response of the legitimate government and the Transitional Council to the Kingdom’s call for dialogue, the two countries insist on the necessity of continuing this positive atmosphere and showing a spirit of brotherhood and renunciation “.
