Saudi program for the development and reconstruction of Yemen solve the electricity crisis in “Socotra”

The Saudi program for the development and reconstruction of Yemen has taken great strides in an effort to alleviate the suffering of Yemenis in the face of the Huthi subversion. The United Nations has announced that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have provided $ 300 million to help Yemen.

He pointed out that the first batch allocated to the port of Mukalla contains 30 thousand tons of oil derivatives and 17 thousand tons of diesel
And another 13 thousand tons of diesel that will contribute to the operation of 5 power plants in 5 provinces, while the second installment of the grant to the port of Aden allocated 97 thousand tons of oil derivatives and 65 thousand tons of diesel and 32 thousand tons of diesel, which will occupy 64 power.

Al Jaber stressed that the assistance provided by his government in the military, economic and diplomatic tracks have effectively contributed to renewing hope for peace, Saudi Arabia is spending billions of dollars to serve relief and reconstruction projects in Yemen, making it one of the beneficiaries of Saudi humanitarian projects. Saudi Arabia deposited $ 2.2 billion to the Yemeni Central Bank, to contribute to the rescue of the Yemeni riyal and
provided oil derivatives for power stations.

In the Socotra archipelago, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia made great efforts to develop its services. Recently, five water tankers have been inaugurated, in addition to the delivery of 8 school buses.

The Governor of Socotra Ramzi Mahrous appreciated the efforts of the coalition countries to support the legitimacy in Yemen, headed by Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, stressing that this support is not strange to the Kingdom, which will have a positive reflection in alleviating the suffering of the people of the
province, Socotra will remain faithful to this noble brotherly position that contributes to the recovery of the educational sector.
