The Yemeni Quartet meets in London to set a deadline for Al-Hodeidah

It is expected that the meeting will discuss the setting of a deadline for the implementation of the Hodeidah Convention, six months after the entry into force of the agreement, and the absence of implementation except for the cease-fire praised by the United Nations, in addition to the unilateral Houthi partial withdrawal from the ports of Hodeidah, Houthi military in the most important ports.


The UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith, was absent in the meeting, as he is busy in meetings with officials of the European Union in Brussels.


Michael Lawlessard, head of the Coordinating Committee for the redeployment in Hodeidah, plans to hold a third joint meeting of government delegations and the Houthis, the meeting will be held on board of the UN ship, which is the headquarters of the Observer Mission.
