UN mission succeeds in installing a third point of ceasefire in Hodeidah despite houthis violations
The joint team of liaison officers between the joint forces and Houthi militias succeeded in activating and installing the third liaison point to monitor the ceasefire in the front lines of the city of Hodeidah, western Yemen, under the supervision of the head of the UN mission, General Abhijit Guha.
The Media Center for Giants Brigades, in a statement, said that the team was able to install the third point on the outskirts of Hodeidah, which includes liaison officers by the joint forces and Houthi militias
The United Nations team, supervised the installation of the first and second points after repeated attempts to obstruct the fixation of points by Houthi militias, on Sunday, where it prevented UN observers from leaving the port of Hodeidah, for hours.
It is noteworthy that the agreement provides for the installation of four ceasefire points for liaison officers, the latest on Tuesday in the neighborhood point of south Hodeidah.
