UNICEF calls for sustained Humanitarian access for remaining Yemeni Children
The Houthi rebels have agreed to withdraw its troops from Hodeidah in a deal that was signed between the Houthi forces and the Saudi backed government. The United Nations children’s agency has welcomed the deal that has been reached between the Saudi government and the Houthi rebels which made them agree to withdraw their troops from the Yemen’s Key Red Sea Port. The UNICEF has also called for unconditional and sustained humanitarian access for the 135000 children who are remaining in Yemen. The city is going through the highest levels of malnutrition and cholera and immediate action is needed to control it.
