With the support of the UAE a humanitarian aid convoy reaches Qutba in Dali province
With the support of the UAE and the Red Crescent, the first a convoy of relief and shelter aid arrived in Al-Dhala governorate yesterday morning to support the fleeing people in the zones of the fronts, including Qatuba and Hajar.
The distribution of aid was inaugurated in the presence of the local authority leaders in Dhala governorate.
The director of the Center for Humanitarian Operations of the United Arab Emirates in Yemen said that this convoy is the first for the victims of Qataba and Hdjar and will be followed by other aid convoys over the week.
The aid convoy includes food, dates, tents, mattresses, blankets, water tanks, and mobile bathrooms.
The convoy came as an urgent response to the relief of fleeing people in Qatuba who were forced to leave their villages and homes by the Houthi militia.
It is worth mentioning that the city of Qataba was liberated last Thursday with the participation of the resistance forces and the security belt and the direct support of the Arab coalition forces, finally, life began to return to the region.
It should be noted that the UAE is a pioneer in providing relief to
the needy in all regions of Yemen.
