Yemen Aid Agencies running out of money for supply of Humanitarian aids
The United Nations Relief Chief Mark Lowcock said that the aid agencies are running out of money and resources to fund the humanitarian efforts in Yemen. They are expected to use up all the resourced by the end of March and the United Nations has also estimated that delivering all the humanitarian aids and supplies along with the life-saving and protection programs would cost more than 4 billion dollars. The Chief also told the US Security Council that the funding for humanitarian aid has become an immediate challenge with the biggest humanitarian relief operation being carried out. He also said that Yemen’s currency has been losing value once again.
