Yemen submit a reconstruction plan to the Arab League
The Republic of Yemen has implemented an economic and social plan that includes several axes in the fields of health, education, housing and tourism for the reconstruction and development of Yemen.
The Director of the Department of Economic Relations at the League of Arab States, Dr. Thamer Al-Ani said in a statement today: This plan was discussed at a meeting held today at the headquarters of the Arab League between the Secretariat General and the Republic of Yemen; to discuss the implementation of the resolution of the Arab Development Summit at its fourth session held in Beirut last January, And to support the efforts of the Republic of Yemen in the
Al-Ani added that the plan was presented by Undersecretary of the Yemeni Ministry of Industry and Trade Ali Atef Al-Sharafi during the joint meeting today, a detailed and well-studied plan covering various aspects of Yemeni citizens’ lives with the aim of improving them.
He pointed out that it was agreed to hold a meeting of the Arab finance institutions. The summit resolution calls upon member states, financial
institutions, Arab funds, specialized Arab organizations and Arab
and international donor agencies to provide technical and material support to the Republic of Yemen within the framework of an integrated program that contributes to reconstruction and recovery to ensure the return of economic and social development.
