Yemeni minister: “The importance of not falling in the houthis trap and weakening the state”
Yemen’s Information Minister ,Muammar al-Iryaniis warning against attempts to weaken the state, hoping that Yemenis are aware that the move undermines the battle to topple Houthi militias.
al-Iryani said in a series of tweets on his Twitter account That:
“Anyone who pushes for a political, military or moral defeat of constitutional legitimacy in the southern governorates is practically devoting Houthi militia control and pushing elites and the street in militia-controlled areas to surrender and acquiesce to their project,” he said.
He also appealed to the Yemenis to make peace, saying: “I sincerely call on our brothers and friends who are keen to bring peace to Yemen and all our Yemeni people to be a help to the state in this decisive phase of Yemen’s history, the challenges facing our country and the Arab region does not accept concessions Which touches the essence of the national battle. “
Al-Iryani’s remarks came after local media reported that gunmen stormed the headquarters of the Ministry of Information in the city of Aden, which witnessed two weeks ago battles and clashes.
