The Yemeni government team discussed with the head of the UN mission, General Abhijit Goha, on Thursday the serious escalation of Houthi militias and their repeated violations of the truce.

The military media of the joint forces mentioned in a statement that the meeting, which was held in the interim capital of Aden, dealt with the dangerous escalation by the Houthi militias who targeted a few days earlier by drones the headquarters of the government team and before the MSF hospital, as well as its attempt to bomb the city of Mocha with a number of ballistic missiles and flying aircraft, Before the Alliance’s air defenses and the combined forces could intercept and detonate them in the air

The meeting also stopped at the points of the violations of Houthi militias inside the city of Hodeidah since the activation of the truce mechanism and the installation of monitoring points.

Houthi militia curbs peace in Yemen for Iran

Houthi fighters from Yemen

The Houthi rebels are moving politically and militarily reversing the trend of peace in Yemen that has recently gained unprecedented momentum, a phenomenon that shows the direct reflection of their close association with the Iranian agenda, which is not the best path to solving conflicts peacefully and reducing tensions in the region.

Despite the financial and military fatigue of the rebel group and its definite need for peace, it appears forced to continue the war under pressure from Tehran.

The Houthi militia preceded the visit of UN Secretary-General’s Representative in Yemen, Martin Griffiths, on Sunday to the capital Sanaa under its control, with a barrage of rockets and a squadron of drones heading towards the west coast of Yemen.

There were strong signs of a peaceful solution

In Yemen, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman said last week that the kingdom was seeking a political settlement in Yemen and hoped the Riyadh agreement would open the door to broader peace talks, referring to a recent Saudi-sponsored agreement between the Southern Transitional Council and the government of President Abd Rabbo.

Griffith told the UN Security Council last Friday during his briefing on the situation in Yemen that there had been a significant reduction in the intensity of fighting in the country, up to 80 percent compared to what was previously.

In order to perpetuate the tension, they launched a rocket attack on the city of al-Mukha in western Yemen.

On Sunday, the Yemeni government condemned the Houthi group’s targeting of the government team’s residence in the Hudaydah Redeployment Coordination Committee.

A Qatari Trojan horse to hit liberated Yemen

The successful security operation, which resulted in the seizure of Qatari weapons in the home of a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Yemeni province of Aden, revealed the efforts of the small Gulf state to strike stability in the liberated Yemeni cities through its brotherly arm, which is used as a Trojan horse in a number of Arab countries.

Aden police found weapons and ammunition bearing the emblems of the State of Qatar in one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s premises in the Directorate of Mualla in Aden province.

A security source said that the anti-terrorism team raided the home of the Brotherhood member RamizAl-Kamrani and found inside a sniper rifle and a quantity of Kalashnikov, ammunition and detonators, explosive devices and explosive belts.

The types of weapons indicate the nature of the mission assigned to the Brotherhood, according to security expert Ahmed al-Shihri.

“These weapons are not a supply of an organized force, but are militia weapons designed to carry out specific targeting operations such as the assassination of officials or acts of sabotage, such as bombings in government or civilian communities,”.

Al-Shihri said that the aim is to strike the security and stability in the city, which is a symbol of Yemeni legitimacy, in order to mix the papers to allow the organization of the Brotherhood to expand its influence.

The process of controlling the Qatari arms comes after several calls from security officials to the need to face the smuggling of national arms in Yemen.

Last October, Yemeni Interior Minister Hussein Arab confirmed Qatar’s role in supporting the coup militias and terrorist organizations in his country, amid reports of an alliance between the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda under the auspices of Doha.

Yemeni security sources reported that a tripartite alliance comprising the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda and its third pillar supported the country, and decided to carry out attacks against the security forces.

The sources confirmed that the security services monitored meetings in Shabwa and Abyan of the leaders of the brothers and other members of the al-Qaeda, in order to coordinate their work under the guidance of  Qatar against government forces.
