The UAE Red Crescent has launched a mobile clinic project to treat displaced citizens in a number of displacement camps in Yemen as part of the UAE’s emergency response campaign launched earlier this month.
The mobile clinic project targets displaced people in camps in the governorates of Aden, Lahj and Abyan, especially as they are unable to go to hospitals for treatment due to the high costs it requires.
The mobile clinic project includes treatment of fever, infections, cough, flu, wounds and burns.
Dr. AlaaBanafi, the supervisor of the mobile clinic, explained that the campaign includes all the displacement camps in Aden, Lahj and Abyan.
He added that the total number of cases examined on a daily basis is up to 20, and work will continue until the completion of all camps.
the UAE Red Crescent continues to implement a mobile clinic project in the West Coast areas to treat the poor and needy. The UAE red crescent is supervising the implementation of relief, cleanliness and distribution of aid to the population in the governorates of Aden, Lahj and Abyan since last week
